About Us
Founded on November 1, 2022, by three visionary, masculine-presenting women, Eminent, eLAHgance, and Essence, Alpha Psi Nu was born from a shared desire to fill the gap in Greek life where authenticity and acceptance were missing.
Together, they built an organization rooted in visibility, purpose, and pride. After successfully crossing three impactful lines, the brotherhood suffered a tragic loss when Founder Essence passed away on December 21, 2023. Her passion, leadership, and loving spirit remain deeply embedded in everything we do.
In honor of her memory, Alpha Psi Nu officially retired her line number. There will never be another #3.

I feel I made the right choice in choosing Alpha Psi Nu because the organization has continued to make strides and efforts to constantly evolve and create a safe space for masculine women.
Since becoming a member although I’m not able to participate as much as I would like, I have formed genuine bonds with some of my brothers and we make an effort to check on each other outside of formal events through the organization.

We’re strong in community acts, full of driven genuine people who are fun to be around and We lead by example for other organizations. This brotherhood holds itself to a high level and I’m proud to be part of it.

I feel like I made the right choice because I found a space with genuine, positive energy. The energy is never negative when I’m around, and I’m big on positive energy because energy is powerful. Growing up, I didn’t really have anyone who was masculine like me to look up to, so being around people who carry themselves like I do means a lot. I don’t feel pressured to change who I am, I feel accepted while I’m still growing and figuring myself out.
Since becoming a member, I’ve gained confidence in who I am and how I present myself. I’ve always struggled a little with my style and figuring out what felt right for me. Being around other masculine presenting members helped me feel more comfortable exploring that and finding my own look. I’ve also gained a stronger sense of belonging and purpose through the brotherhood and the community service we do.

I feel I made the right choice in joining Alpha Psi Nu because it aligns with both my personal values and my long-term goals. What stood out to me most about Alpha Psi Nu was the genuine sense of brotherhood and support among members. It feels like a community where I can contribute meaningfully and continue becoming the best version of myself.

I love Alpha Psi Nu, I really feel like I am right where I need to be. The rush you get from just the brotherhood and being apart of something bigger than yourself is really fulfilling. I want to do so much more in the brotherhood and it gives me a sense of self to just want to be a positive influence in the community and most of all within myself.
Ive gained confidence in different aspects of my life. Ive gained self respect. Ive gained a group of masc presenting beautiful women from all walks of life to bond with and learn from and grow. This org just brings out that drive and that go getta spirit,to be the best and be proud of what I do. To really and truly Pop Your ish and stand on it.
